2023 Phonics Reading Results - Top 1%

In recognition of the 2023 phonics results we have received a letter of commendation from the Minister for Schools, Rt Hon Damian Hinds MP.  100 per cent of the children in Year 1 met the expected standard and as a result the school is in the top 1% of all primary schools in the country.

Our success in teaching phonics and early reading means that the children are developing a good foundation from where they can become fluent and develop a lifelong love of reading.
